Energy and water focus of month-long San Diego confab

This looks interesting. Several of the architects at our office are considering attending since it is just down the street. If you’re in San Diego, take a look:

The concept behind the month-long ?World Resources Simulation Center? event on energy and water in Southern California is that when people get together informally and share their knowledge, they can more quickly agree on what needs to be done.

“We’ll ask the question, ‘Is that sustainable?’ ” said Peter Meisen, who is hosting the gathering at the NewSchool of Architecture & Design in San Diego’s East Village.

He hopes that by gathering in small groups with their own data, Internet access and projectors, people can cut through complicated information quickly to get at what the problems are and possible solutions.
