Jason Kottke is one of the OG bloggers that helped to define the medium early on. In addition to what he calls Liberal Arts 2.0, Kottke blogs about all kinds of interesting things, with a special eye for design and typography. Reflective of that interest, his most recent re-design to kottke.org has resulted in a traffic increase of 14% overall, with substantial increases in mobile traffic. Most numbers are up across the board.
