The Jazz Session Podcast is Back, with an endorsement by Sonny Rollins!

Pretty much all of the content I listen to and watch these days comes via podcasts. It isn’t something I discuss very much – mostly because I am not too sure how mainstream podcasts have become.

There are a few podcasts that aren’t just good, they have profoundly impacted my life. One of those is Jason Crane’s podcast, The Jazz Session. Each episode features interviews with and recordings of some of the greatest jazz musicians around. There is nothing like this in mainstream media.

After almost a year-long hiatus, The Jazz Session is back! In order for Jason to keep hosting the podcast (it takes a lot of time and money to produce such high quality content), he launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise some funds.

I don’t have a lot of extra cash, but I can’t not support what Jason has done, and continues to do for the community. And I’m not alone. Here is none other than Sonny Rollins on why you should support The Jazz Session:
